Hey Mom,
This week has been pretty rough for me. I finally went to my mission president about some things that had been weighing on me, and now I'm free from a HUGE burden. I got to talk to President Oakes for a bit, and that was good, but the bottom line is that from Tuesday to Saturday I thought that I could be going home. President Oakes and President Rehm both agree that I should stay out here, but I'm getting transferred down to Sanford, Colorado tonight. I don't have much to write home about besides that. I'm not a zone leader anymore, but I do get to be a missionary, so I'm satisfied. I think confessing the things that I had done is the scariest thing I have ever done, but I'm glad that I did. Ben inspired me to be brave. Sorry, you are just now finding out about this, but I couldn't tell you until now. Anyways, I'm not coming home, so that's a plus. I got sent to one of the most laid back slow time areas probably in existence. I'm happy for Zach, bet his teeth look great. Ben will get through this. I'm doing really good, my new companion is really laid back, but we get along. I'll fill you in later, I just wanted to let you know that I'm alive! thanks for the package, I have more free time, so no more excuses for not writing letters. Love you a lot, miss you a ton! I don't know if I will tell you, I'm not proud of it, and its really between my Savior and I. its in the past and I don't want to look back on it. anyways, talk to you Monday. I will probably be on at 8am, just so you know. Anyways, I love you, and I hope your week is good.
Love,
Elder Rogers
