Hi Mom
Well, yall must be really busy not to email me, and I wasn't going to write a letter home, but I remembered that it is your birthday tomorrow! Happy Birthday, you're finally 30! I just want to take the time to let you know that I love you, and I miss you every day. I wish I could give you a hug, but I can't, not for 7 more months! 
Can you believe I will be home so soon? I sure can't. Anyways, I'm still working on your birthday present, so it may be a few more weeks, I still need more practice...
This week was pretty good, but also pretty rough. We aren't having a ton of success, even though I'm exactly obedient and trying my best. I know that the Lord has something amazing in store. I want you to know that of all the things I'm grateful for in my life, you are, and always will be at the top of that list, right behind God. You have always been my biggest fan, and you have always supported me in all of my endeavors. You taught me the Gospel, you taught me to pray, who to turn to when times got hard, how to repent, where to find my answers, and what a great mom looks like. I cannot thank you enough. The older I get, the more I understand just how much you do for me. Thank you. It's hard to express just how much you mean to me, especially over email, but if it helps, I want you to know that trying to express it brings me to tears. In a lot of ways, you helped me become who I am, and who I am becoming, more than anyone else except God. I love you, Mom. Happy Birthday to the greatest mom I could ask for, and to my hero.
