Dear Mom,
I'm doing really good :) Don't sweat it on the protein, I completely understand. I'm blessed that you would send me anything, and I am so grateful for it. So right now, I'm thinking about moving to Utah October/Novemberish and getting established and getting a job. My buddy made $26,000 in a little over three months selling zero rez and cleaning carpets, and he said that I would be good at it, so that's a possibility for a job. I'm going to ask Grandma and grandpa if I can live in that garage apartment Grandpa made a while back. It would be nice to live in Alpine and commute to Provo for school. I enjoy driving and I enjoy Grandmas house :) I'm going to help her with her garden :) What is this 40 hour a day job you speak of? Clearly, I don't mind getting dirty#landscaping. That hike looks like fun, I'm pumped to go hiking with you in 10 months! We will have to do Flat iron again. Im not really feeling like writing a huge letter today, but as long as you know I'm doing great, that's all that matters. I'm in probably one of the hilliest biking areas in the mission, at over 6000 feet elevation, and I bike close to 10 miles a day. My legs are getting huge! Also, it helps that I never shift my gears, I try to stay in 3'8 the entire time. I've been successful thus far! I had to spend some cash on my bike to replace a wheel and a fork, so I'm not going to be spending money for a while. I'm so excited for life in 10 months, but mostly I'm excited to be here in Colorado Springs, as a missionary. Life is crazy and it's unexpected, but its great. There are 3 companionships in my district, and we are all on bikes. I out bike all of them, mostly because I'm competitive. My comp has a heart problem, so I don't know what he is doing in a biking area, but he is really slow and loves to complain, it's awesome! His name is Elder Nielsen and he is from Cali. He is also a little autistic so that's interesting. Good kid, but he is kind of lazy. Elder Powell is from Layton Utah, and he is definitely one of my best friends out here, we are the same person and we have so much fun together, it's like interacting with Zach or Ben, I love it. Elder Calderon is my mission Grandpa, which means he trained my trainer and is just super awesome, he goes home next week. I miss him already. Elder Miller is pretty immature, but he will figure it out. Elder Conrad is one of my most favorite people, and I love him to pieces, he is just so genuine and kind and funny. His comp, Elder Worthen is a quiet kid from Utah, but he is pretty cool too. The family who sent those pics is actually just Brother Robins, he is the best ever. he is always helping us out! I love the guy so much. I actually love this whole ward. Elder Calderon and I Went on exchanges and taught a sweet restoration lesson to this family called the Bittners that went really well! We threw down haha its fun being bold! Mostly because this is the truth! Also, its fun taking peoples excuses from them haha. I love this work so much. It's the best. Meeting with Sam was awesome, it was probably the longest conversation I have ever had with the guy, and I definitely love him. He is so great! Thanks again for the package, I love you so much, mom. I can't wait to give you a gigantic hug in just 10 months! it will go by quick, I know it!
Love,
You little boy :)
